Background IP PRO was founded in 1998 in order to provide the Russian and foreign companies with the full range of high quality service in the field of IP protection. Primarily our firm consisted of only 3 people and dealt only with trademark. The staff managed to resist the competition due to high quality of services and ability to flexible policy in changing economic conditions. On the next stage the firm started to widen its scope of activities. In the year 2000 IPPRO was able to provide all range of legal services covering all IPR (industrial property, copyright and related rights). Taking into consideration a substantial growth of clientele from Russia regions, IPPRO set up the first regional branch in Krasnodar City. In 2001-2002 the firm effectively represented the interests of clients in Patent Dispute Chamber Appeal of the Russian Patent Office as well as in courts of first instance and the Higher Arbitration Court. We successfully use international systems, functioning under the auspices of the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO), namely the PCT and Madrid System (Madrid Agreement and Protocol). The firm actively participates in the numerous national and international events and also organizes the Annual IPRs Conference. The number of publications of our staff in specialized magazines is constantly growing. At present IPPRO has active business links with law firms and patent attorneys from the U.S.A., Canada, European and C.I.S. States and other countries.
